Quotations and orders

Prices, lead times and product specifications shown on this site or in a quotation are indicative until an order is confirmed in writing. A contract is formed when we confirm your order. Custom and made-to-order items are produced to your specification and are not returnable except where faulty.

Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted in US dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude destination customs duties and import taxes, which are the buyer’s responsibility. Payment terms are stated on your invoice. Where a deposit is required, production begins once it is received.

Product descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Gemstones, pearls and coloured materials are natural or laboratory-grown products and can vary slightly in colour and appearance; photographs are illustrative. Measurements and carat weights are stated with normal manufacturing tolerance. Certificates, where supplied, are issued by independent laboratories and describe the stone tested.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Delivery times, shipping charges, the returns process and warranty terms are set out in our Shipping & Delivery and Returns, Refunds & Warranty pages, which form part of these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photographs, designs, logos and page layout — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission. Custom designs we produce remain our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs action, industrial action, natural events or public health restrictions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before resorting to formal proceedings. [legal review]
